The following four recipes were made during the Indian vegetarian cooking workshop at the Yarraville Community Centre, Melbourne. The workshop was held on May 21, 2013, from 6.30 pm-8.30pm.
1. JB's chana masala: Chickpeas cooked in spicy tomato gravy
2. Matar paneer (cottage cheese and green peas cooked in a tomato gravy): Easy to cook and a great favourite with kids.
3. Fried, mixed vegetables: Flavourful, colourful, lightly spiced and very healthy.
4. Aloo gobhi: Mildy spiced cauliflower with potatoes, found in every Indian restaurant!
